This research focused to analyzing and determine the sectors of the regional economy of Karanganyar Regency so that can be to guidelines what determine action should be taken to accelerate the growth rate. In this research, using secondary data with time series of GDRP in Karanganyar Regency and Central Java years 2010-2015. The analytical tool used in this research are: 1) Analysis of Location Quotient (LQ), 2) Shift Share Analysis, and 3) Analysis Tipology Klassen. Based on the analysis Location Quotient (LQ) indicates that that became the base sector are (1) the procurement sector electricity, gas (2) processing industry, (3) the financial services sector, (4) the construction sector, (5) sectors of water supply, ( 6) sector provision of accommodation eating and drinking, (7) the real estate sector, and (8) the education services sector. Shift Share Analysis shows that the sector is competitive sector is the manufacturing sector because it has the highest value annually. Klassen Tipology analysis shows that an advanced and rapidly growing sector is the sector of the provision of accommodation, food and drink and service sectors of education (2015).
