This study aims to determine the effect of firm size, asset structure and profitability of the capital structure on a food and beverage company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2015. This research is a quantitative research with a total sample of 16 companies obtained through random sampling method. Results showed variable size and structure of assets has no effect on the capital structure, while the profitability variable has a negative effect on the capital structure. Simultaneously the variable firm size, asset structure and profitability in this study affect the capital structure of food and beverage. The company is expected to further improve its performance in order to increase profits, because if the high profits expected dividends to be distributed will also indirectly increase and investors will be more interested to invest and can be taken into consideration for the investor in making an investment.
