The purpose of this study (1) to formulate the theoretical concepts of integration of English into Indonesian according to sociolinguistic experts; (2) to formulate the understanding of UNIVET Sukoharjo students on the concept of integration of English into Indonesian language in socioliguistic learning. Subjects in this study were (1) sociolinguistic experts; (2) students of UNIVET Sukoharjo. The results of this study indicate that (1) of six sociolinguistic experts found the existence of fivetypes of theoretical concepts of integration. Five types of theoretical concepts of English integration into the Indonesian language include concepts, integration is an element of absorption, integration is a loan word, integration is the use of other languages unnoticed by the language user, integration is the process of acceptance of other language elements, integration is the transfer of language; (2) result of research indicate from five student which become subject of research one student have concept of lexicon integration which relevant with expert opinion of sociolinguistic Kridalaksana. Four students have relevant integration concepts with Suwito's sociolinguistic experts. The results also show that student A has a different theoretical concept of integration with the opinion expressed by sociolinguistic expert Wahyuni and Sudiyana as lecturer of Sociolinguistic course at Veteran Bangun Nusantara University (UNIVET) Sukoharjo, sociolinguistic expert Suwito, Weinreich, Chaer and Agustin. Students B, C, D and E also show different concepts with the theoretical concepts of integration proposed by Wahyuni and Sudiyana as lecturers of Sociolinguistic subjects at Veteran Bangun Nusantara University (UNIVET) Sukoharjo, sociolinguistic expert Chaer and Agustin, Kridalaksana and Weinreich. | ||
