The Faculty of Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Mey 2017. The ability of students understanding in the learning process will affect his ability in working on the problem. Errors are often made by students can be used to identify the extent to which students understand the material being studied. Error made by these students will result in students learning outcomes. The object of this research is to describe student's wrong in solving mathematic question of the cube and beams materials VIII class SMP N 1 Sambi Boyolali in 2016/ 2017 years. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Technique of collecting data by test method, interview and documentation. The data validity investigation used triangulation method, is by collecting different data to get data from the same source through tests, interviews and documentation. Technique of analyzing data through data reduction phase, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the analysis data and discussion student experience errors are: trandformation error or Transformation Error of 67,64% is error because students wrong in changing the information presented into mathematical sentence, the error of process skill or Process Skill Error of 61,44% is error because students wrong the mathematical procedure and arithmetic operating, error of writing final answer or Encoding Error of 34,93% that is error because students are not writing conclusion from the solusion by the result, and comprehension error or Comprehension Error of 25,30% that is error because students wrong on identifying problem into the mathematical concepts and commands misunderstand also the question of the questioner.
