Summary

Social media instagram intensity used is an individual activity who related to comfortable feeling they recurring do everytime. When they (an individual) get many "like", "comment", or having many people who followed them, the individual will think they are precious. Self-esteem can determine it from social agreement factor in terms of another people agreement. The purpose of this research is to knowing relation between social media instagram intensity used and self-esteem. Subject research amount for this research is 88 person. Subject criteria is SMK Negeri 7 of surakarta student class XI who's in 16-17 years old, have instagram account and active for instagram account access. Sample technic for this research is using Cluster Random Sampling. Coefficient correlation (rxy) = 0,130 by result with signification = 0,113 (p> 0,05). The research of this result indicated there isn't relations between social media instagram intensity used with self-esteem.
