Family environment is a place that is used as a means for growing teenagers, because each member of the family has a role and function of each. Malfunction one family role it will give adverse impact on teenagers. This study aims to determine the efforts of parents in the prevention of juvenile delinquency in the Village Sudiroprajan Jebres Surakarta. This research is descriptive method using cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all parents who have children aged teens (13-18) in the Village Sudiroprajan withmethod. proportional random sampling Collecting data using questionnaires, data analysis using descriptive analysis. The conclusion is the effort of parents in the prevention of juvenile delinquency in the Village Sudiroprajan Jebres Surakarta be a way of communication between parent and child is the most widely used chat when watching television together (73.2%), to prevent young adolescent smoking is awarded a penalty when caught smoking (43.4%), preventing adolescent alcohol consumption is a parent prohibits and provides penalties when caught drinking alcohol (36.4%), taking drugs is to prevent young parents supervise teens when assembled with the group (66.7%) and parents in the implementation of religious education for adolescents is to encourage teens when it will carry out religious activities (62.6%).
