Summary:Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dalam penyelenggaraannya harus menjalin kemitraan dengan lembaga lain yang merupakan implementasi pendidikan sistem ganda meliputi kegiatan pembelajaran tatap muka, praktik di sekolah dan kegiatan kerja praktik di dunia usaha/industri atau disebut prakerin dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu lulusannya, salah satu bagian terpenting dari pelaksanaan prakerin adalah persepsi tentang karir pekerjaan di industri dan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan yang belum banyak diperhatikan oleh sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang karir pekerjaan di industri dan motivasi belajar terhadap pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kota Bandung dengan metoda penelitian korelasional yang menggunakan instrumen penelitian kuesioner pada tingkat reliabilitas variabel X1= 0,925, X2=0,953 dan Y= 0.889, sampel penelitian 34 siswa Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Pengelasan kelas XII yang telah melaksanakan paktik kerja industri. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terdapat pengaruh antara persepsi tentang karir pekerjaan di industri terhadap praktik kerja industri sebesar 0,64, terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi belajar terhadap pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri sebesar 0,68, terdapat pengaruh antara persepsi tentang karir pekerjaan di industri terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 0,58, dan terdapat pengaruh antara persepsi tentang karir pekerjaan di industri dan motivasi belajar terhadap pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri sebesar 0,74, sedangkan pengaruh persepsi tentang karir pekerjaan di industri dan motivasi belajar terhadap pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri dapat diprediksi melalui persamaan regresi Y M0;=10,73+0,38 X_1+0,41 X_2. Kesimpulan dari penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa koefisien untuk variabel persepsi tentang karir pekerjaan di industri dan motivasi belajar siswa berarti pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, sehingga dapat diprediksi persepsi tentang karir pekerjaan di industri dan motivasi belajar siswa memberikan pengaruh yang berarti terhadap pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri. Vocational Schools, in their practice, should make a partnership with other institutions to represent the implementation of double system education covering class meeting, practice in school and apprenticeship in work field/industry or kegiatan kerja praktik di dunia usaha/industri so called prakerin that is aimed at enhancing the quality of the alumni. One of the most important parts of prakerin is perception on professional carrier in industry and learning motivation of students towards school subjects of vocational competency not yet many notice of school. This study was aimed at knowing the influence of students' perception on professional carrier in industry and learning motivation towards the industrial apprenticeship of vocational school students in Bandung using correlation research method comprising research instrument of questionnaire at reliability level variable X1= 0,925, X2=0,953 dan Y = 0,889 with 34 students from welding engineering class XII that had conducted apprenticeship as sample. The research showed that there was some influence of perception on professional carrier in industry towards apprenticeship as much as 0,64, there was some influence of learning motivation towards apprenticeship as much as 0,68, there was some influence of perception on professional carrier in industry of learning motivation towards as much as 0,58, and there was some influence of perception on professional carrier in industry and learning motivation towards apprenticeship as much as 0,74, while the influence of perception on professional carrier in industry and learning motivation towards apprenticeship can be predicted from regression equation of %4; = 10,73 + 0,38X1 + 0,41X2. From the research, it can be concluded that coefficient for variable of perception on professional carrier in industry and learning motivation of students was significant at significantcy level α = 0,05; thus, it can be predicted that perception on professional carrier in industry and students' learning motivation give a significant influence towards apprenticeship.
