Summary: | Teaching materials are one of the learning components that participate in improving the quality of education. Based on a preliminary study conducted at SMAN 1 Kertasari, the teaching materials used were limited to student handbooks. Along with the development of technology, it is very important to use digital-based teaching materials. The digital teaching materials used are e-modules. The material is focused on land use and conservation, bearing in mind that Kertasari District is a conservation area with indications of critical land. Thus, it is very important for students to have ecological competence. This study aims to develop e-modules and find out their use to achieve ecological competence in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Kertasari. This study used the Quasi-Experimental Nonequivalent design method (Pre Test and Post Test). The research variables are the STAD and TGT learning models as independent variables (X) while ecological competence is the dependent variable (Y). The subjects in this study were students of X IPS class at SMAN 1 Kertasari. Data collection was carried out by tests, questionnaires, assignments, and observations. Data analysis using T-Test and Regression. The results of the T-test show a probability value of 0.04 <0.05, so that it can be concluded that there is a difference between the results of the ecological competence of experimental class students who use e-modules with the STAD and TGT models. Likewise with the regression results, showing a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so that it can be concluded that there is an influence between the use of e-modules with the STAD and TGT models on the ecological competence of students. In order to improve the results shown by students, teaching materials should be developed in a variety of ways so as to raise students' interest in reading. In addition, it is also adjusted to the conditions of facts/issues related to the surrounding environment in order to hone students' thinking skills. |
