Summary:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMA yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model Project-Based Learning pendekatan STEM dan siswa yang mendapatkan Project-Based Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimen dan The Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Lembang yang terdiri dari delapan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas X fase E3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X fase E2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa berbentuk uraian berupa pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1). Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model Project-Based Learning pendekatan STEM masuk pada kategori tinggi. 2). Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Project-Based Learning pendekatan STEM lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan Project-Based Learning. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis, Project-Based Learning Pendekatan STEM. This study aims to analyze the improvement of mathematical reasoning ability of high school students who get Project-Based Learning model learning STEM approach and students who get Project-Based Learning. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental method and The Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all X grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Lembang consisting of eight classes. The samples of this study were students of class X phase E3 as the experimental class and class X phase E2 as the control class. The samples were selected using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a test of students' mathematical reasoning ability in the form of essays in the form of pretests and posttests. The results of this study showed: 1). The increase in mathematical reasoning ability of students who get Project-Based Learning model learning STEM approach is in the high category. 2). The improvement of mathematical reasoning ability of students who get Project-Based Learning model learning STEM approach is higher than students who get Project-Based Learning.
