Summary:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah upaya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan orientasi spasial dan resiliensi matematis siswa melalui CAI (Computer Assissted Instruction) drill and practice. Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimen dengan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Design yang melibatkan siswa SMPN 18 Bandung, dengan 29 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 26 siswa di kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah instrumen tes kemampuan orientasi spasial dan instrumen tes angket resiliensi matematis. Hasil penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa kualitas peningkatan kemampuan orientasi spasial siswa yang mendapatkan CAI drill and practice adalah sedang, sementara kualitas peningkatan kemampuan orientasi spasial yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvesional adalah rendah, peningkatan kemampuan orientasi spasial siswa yang mendapatkan CAI drill and practice jauh lebih tinggi dari siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvesional, dan pembelajaran CAI drill and practice dapat meningkatkan kemampuan resiliensi matematis siswa dengan kategori rendah. The purpose of the research is to effort improve the ability of spatial orientation and mathematical resilience through the CAI . This study is a research with the design of Non Equivalent Control Group Design which involves students of Junior High School State 18 Bandung City, the number of students are 29 students in the experiment class and 26 students in the control class. The instrument used in research are spatial orientation ability test instrument and mathematical resilience questionnaiere test instrument. The result of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the quality of improving the spatial orientation abilities of students who receive learning using the media model CAI drill and practice is in the medium category , while the quality of improving the spatial orientation abilities of students who receive learning conventionally in the low category, the increase of improving the spatial orientation abilities of students who receive learning using the media model CAI drill and practice is higher than the of increase the spatial orientation abilities of students who receive learning conventionally, and learning with CAI drill and practice can impove students mathematical resilience in the low category.
