Summary:Kemampuan literasi sains sangat penting pada era globalisasi, dimana sains dan teknologi sangat cepat berkembang terutama di negara-negara maju. Namun, rendahnya literasi sains siswa di Indonesia berada pada urutan 70 dari 79 negara yang berpartsipasi dalam penilaian literasi sains tingkat internasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas V SDN Manggarai Selatan 03. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan tes berbentuk uraian berisi indikator kemampuan literasi sains yang diberikan pada siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif dengan desain Single Subject Research. Subyek yang akan dilibatkan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 3 siswa kelas V. berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan penerapan model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa memiliki hasil overlap 0% dan 33%. Dari hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Penerapan model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran, terutama pada kemampuan literasi sains, 2) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran menggunakan model discovery learning ----- Science literacy is very importantin the era of globalization, where science and technology are developing very rapidly, especially in developed countries. However, score science literacy students in Indonesia are ranked 70 out of 79 countries participating in the scientific literacy assessment at the international level. This research aims to find out whether or not the influence of the learning model of discovery learning on the results of science literacy skills of students of grade V SDN Manggarai South 03. To these objectives, the test is carried out in the form of descriptions containing indicators of science literacy skills given to students. The type of research used is quantitative with the design of Single Subject Research. Subjects that will be involved in this study as many as 3 students of class V. based on the results of data analysis with the application of discovery learning models to the literacy skills of students have overlap scores 0% and 33%. From the results of the data, it can be concluded that: 1) the application of the discovery learning model has an impact on learning activities, especially on the literacy ability of science, 2) there is an increase in science literacy skills of students who are learning using the Discovery Learning model.
