Summary:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). di SDN 1 Nagarawangi. Program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) memiliki 3 tahapan yakni tahap pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran. Pandemi Covid-19 selama kurang lebih 2 tahun mengakibatkan vakumnya pelaksanaan program GLS. Setelah selesai pandemi Covid-19, pelaksanaan program GLS menjadi kurang efektif terlebih dikarenakan banyaknya fasilitas yang sudah rusak karena tak terawat dan kurangnya motivasi serta program yang mampu menstimulus kegiatan GLS seperti program WJLRC yang dilaksanakan pada saat sebelum pandemi Covid-19. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. wawancara dilaksanakan bersama guru yang bertugas sebagai penanggung jawab program GLS dan 3 orang alumni yang pernah merasakan program GLS pada saat sebelum pandemi Covid-19 di SDN 1 Nagarawangi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pelaksanaan GLS telaksana secara efektif pada saat sebelum pandemi Covid-19. Sedangkan, pada saat ini pelaksanaan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) sedang diupayakan kembali oleh SDN 1 Nagarawangi namun tidak efektif karena bergantung kepada konsistensi guru kelas masing-masing dalam menerapkan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dan banyaknya fasilitas yang sudah rusak karena tak terawat selama pandemi Covid-19. Sehingga, program yang dapat menstimulus berjalannya program GLS seperti WJLRC (West Java Leader's Reading Challenge) sangat diperlukan. This study aims to describe the GLS program (School Literacy Movement). at SDN 1 Nagarawangi. The GLS (School Literacy Movement) program has 3 stages, namely the habituation, development, and learning stages. The Covid-19 pandemic for approximately 2 years resulted in a vacuum in the implementation of the GLS program. After the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of the GLS program became less effective, especially because many facilities had been damaged due to poor maintenance and a lack of motivation and programs capable of stimulating GLS activities such as the WJLRC program which was implemented before the Covid-19 pandemic. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The interview was conducted with the teacher who served as the person in charge of the GLS program and 3 alumni who had experienced the GLS program before the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN 1 Nagarawangi. The results of this study state that the implementation of the GLS was carried out effectively before the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, currently the implementation of the GLS (School Literacy Movement) program is being attempted again by SDN 1 Nagarawangi but it is not effective because it depends on the consistency of each class teacher in implementing the GLS (School Literacy Movement) program and the many facilities that have been damaged due to neglect during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, programs that can stimulate the GLS program such as WJLRC (West Java Leader's Reading Challenge) are needed.
