ABSTRAK PENGARUH PROGRAM KELAS KHUSUS (PUBLIC SPEAKING) TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA JURUSAN OTKP DI SMK BPI BANDUNG Oleh: Rela Sofiatunnisa Skripsi ini dibimbing oleh: Prof. Dr. Dra. Hj. Janah Sojanah, M.Si Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa Jurusan OTKP di SMK BPI Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh program kelas khusus (public speaking) terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain expost de facto dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala likert. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 46 orang yaitu siswa Jurusan OTKP yang ikut serta dalam program kelas khusus (public speaking). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil bahwa program kelas khusus (public speaking) dengan pengujian tujuh indikator berada pada kategori tinggi, dan kepercayaan diri siswa dengan pengujian empat indikator berada pada kategori tinggi. Kemudian, dari hasil uji hipotesis didapatkan bahwa program kelas khusus (public speaking) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Jurusan OTKP di SMK BPI Bandung. Dengan demikian Kepercayaan Diri Siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan program kelas khusus (public speaking). Kata Kunci: Kepercayaan Diri Siswa; Program Kelas Khusus; Public Speaking. ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF SPECIAL CLASS PROGRAM (PUBLIC SPEAKING) ON THE SELF-CONFIDENCE OF OTKP DEPARTMENT STUDENTS AT SMK BPI BANDUNG By: Rela Sofiatunnisa This thesis is guided by: Prof. Dr. Dra. Hj. Janah Sojanah, M.Si The problem under study in this research is the low self-confidence of OTKP department students at SMK BPI Bandung. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of the special class program (public speaking) on students' self-confidence. This research uses an ex-post facto design with data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire. The total population in this study was 46 students from the OTKP department who participated in the special class program (public speaking). The data analysis technique used in this study is simple regression analysis.Based on the research conducted, the results show that the special class program (public speaking) with seven indicator tests is categorized as high, and students' self-confidence with four indicator tests is categorized as high. Furthermore, the hypothesis test results show that the special class program (public speaking) has a positive and significant influence on the self-confidence of OTKP department students at SMK BPI Bandung. Thus, students' self-confidence can be improved through an enhancement of the special class program (public speaking). Keywords: Public Speaking; Self-Confidence; The Special Class program.
