Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keslutan tersebut adalah siswa malas membaca dan tidak terbiasa menulis. Selain itu, penggunaan model pembelajaran juga mempengaruhi keberhasilan pembelajaran.berdasarkan fakta di lapangan, model pembelajaran yang digunakkan guru masih konvensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan model connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending (CORE) berbantuan aplikasi concept map maker (Mindomo) dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek. Model pembelajaran ini digunakan untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam mengungkapkan ide untuk memotivasi siswa dalam menulis. Motode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate). Pada tahap analyze dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, penyebaran angket, dan tes menulis untuk mendapatkan potret menulis teks cerita pendek di sekolah. Tahap design berdasarkan teori yang relevan dan membuat tata letak model. Tahap development mengembangkan model sesuai tata letak dan melakukan validasi. Implement dilakukan setelah revisi sesuai validasi ahli. Hasil perhitungan tes menulis teks cerita pendek siswa memperoleh nilai dengan rata-rata 85 kategori sangat baik yang menunjukkan bahwa model connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending (CORE) berbantuan aplikasi concept map maker (Mindomo) efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket tanggapan pengguna yaitu siswa dan guru. One of the factors that influence these difficulties is that students are lazy to read and are not used to writing. In addition, the use of learning models also affects the success of learning. Based on facts in the field, the learning model used by teachers is still conventional. This research was conducted to develop the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Expanding (CORE) Model with the help of the Concept Map Maker (Mindomo) application in Learning to Write Short Story Texts. This learning model is used to overcome students' difficulties in expressing ideas to motivate students in writing. The method used in this research is ADDIE development research (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate). At the analysis stage it was carried out by interviewing, spreading angles, and writing tests to get a portrait of writing short story texts at school. The design stage is based on the relevant theory and creates a model layout. The development stage develops the model according to the layout and performs validation. Implementation is carried out after revision according to original validation. The results of the students' short story writing test results obtained an average score of 85 in a very good category which shows that the connecting, organization, reflecting, extending (CORE) model is assisted by the concept map maker (Mindomo) application in learning to write. The evaluation stage is carried out by spreading the user's response angle, namely students and teachers.
