Summary:In this research, the writer will study about democratic leadership style and employee motivation in Front Office Department at Alamkulkul Boutique Resort-Bali. The free variable (X) is democratic leadership style and the dependent variable (Y) is motivation work In this research, the writer will study about" How big relation of democratic leadership style with employee motivation in Front Office Department at Alamkulkul Boutique Resort-Bali?". If the relation is known, it can be used as one of consideration to solving the problem about democratic leadership style and motivation work. The writer uses descriptive research method to descript/define the phenomenon or the relation/link between the phenomenons systematically, factually and accurately. The tools to gather the data are questionnaire. Technique analyse in this research is correlation analyse. The responder is 19 employees in Front Office Department at Alamkulkul Boutique Resort-Bali. Based on the analysis, the result of democratic leadership style in Front Office Department at Alamkulkul Boutique Resort-Bali is good (have mean score 4) and motivation work in Front Office Department at Alamkulkul Boutique Resort-Bali is high (have mean score 4). Besides that, there are positive relation and significant between democratic leadership style to motivation work in Front Office Department at Alamkulkul Boutique Resort-Bali with a 0,7251 correlation coefficient or 52.58% determination and the rest (47.42%) is influenced by other factors. Based on the findings, researcher suggests a recommendation so that democratic leadership style and motivation work in Front Office Department at Alamkulkul Boutique Resort-Bali can be improved or at least remain to be defended.
