Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self control dengan parasocial relationship pada remaja penggemar korean pop di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode analisis Pearson Correlation. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian Brief Self Control Scale (BSCS) berdasarkan teori Tangney dkk (2004) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Syarastany (2021) yang berjumlah 12 aitem (reliabilitas 0,719) dan skala Multiple Parasocial Relationship Scale (MPRS) dari teori Tukachinsky (2010) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Juwita (2022) yang berjumlah 24 aitem. Sampel penelitian ini adalah remaja penggemar K-Pop di Indonesia dengan rentang usia 12 - 21 sebanyak 1004 responden, dengan menggunakan teknik quota sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara self control dan parasocial relationship dengan nilai signifikansi 0.041 dan pearson correlation sebesar -0.064, yang berarti bahwa apabila self control tinggi, maka parasocial relationship cenderung lemah. This study aims to determine the relationship between self control and parasocial relationship between self control and parasocial relationship in adolescent fans of Korean Pop in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative methods with the Pearson Correlation analysis method. Data collection techniques using Brief Self Control Scale (BSCS) research instrument based on the theory of Tangney et al (2004) which has been adapted by Syarastany (2021) which totals 12 items (reliability 0.719) and the Multiple scale The Parasocial Relationship Scale (MPRS) from Tukachinsky's theory (2010) which has been adapted by Juwita (2022) which total of 24 items. The sample for this study was K-Pop fans in Indonesia with an age range of 12-21 as many as 1004 respondents, using the quota sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between self control and parasocial relationship with a significance value 0.041 and pearson correlation of -0.064, which means that if self control is high, parasocial relationships tend to be weak
