| Summary: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran working capital yang diukur dengan working capital turnover (WCT), ukuran perusahaan yang diukur dengan logaritma natural dari total aset, dan profitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return on Assets (ROA). Sertu untuk mengetahui pengaruh working capital terhadap profitabilitas dengan ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan retail yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan varivikatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 27 perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan retail yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2022. Sampel penelitian diambil berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 12 sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik, regresi data panel dan Moderated Regression Analysis, serta uji hipotesis dengan uji keberartian regresi (uji F), uji koefisien determinasi dan uji keberartian koefisien regresi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini dilihat berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi eviews 12. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa working capital berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan memperlemah pengaruh working capital terhadap profitabilitas : This study aims to find out the description working capital which is measured with working capital turnover (WCT), company size as measured by natural logarithm of total assets, and Profitability as measured by Return on Assets (ROA). and to know the effect working capital on profitability with firm size as a moderating variable on retail trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2022 period. The method used in this research is a descriptive and verification method. The research population totals 27 retail trade sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2022 period. The research sample was taken based on the technique purposive sampling totals 14 samples. The analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, and panel data regression Moderated Regression Analysis, and hypothesis testing with F test and T test. The results in this study are seen based on the results of data processing using the application eviews 12. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing that has been carried out in this study, the results obtained are the working capital positive effect on profitability and firm size weakens the influence working capital on profitability. |
