Penelitian ini mengkaji kontribusi hasil belajar merias wajah foto terhadap kesiapan menjadi make-up artists. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data tentang kontribusi hasil belajar merias wajah foto terhadap kesiapan menjadi make-up artists. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Populasi penelitian yaitu peserta diklat SMK Negeri 2 Baleendah dengan sampel total berjumlah 30 orang. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar merias wajah foto berdasarkan indikator konsep merias wajah foto, jenis-jenis merias wajah foto, prinsip-prinsip merias wajah foto, pengetahuan alat dan kosmetika merias wajah foto dan teknik mendesain rias wajah foto pada umumnya berada pada kategori tinggi dan memberikan kontribusi positif yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan menjadi make-up artists. Hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada peserta diklat hendaknya lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan merias wajah yang dapat dijadikan bekal dan modal utama untuk siap bekerja sebagai menjadi make-up artists. Kata Kunci : Rias Wajah Foto, Make-up Artists READINESS TO BE MAKE-UP ARTISTS This study examines the contribution of learning to apply makeup photo for readiness to be make- up artists. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the contribution of learning to apply makeup photo for readiness to be make- up artists. The method used is descriptive analytic method. The study population is training participants at SMK Negeri 2 Baleendah with the total sample were 30. Means of collecting data in the form of tests and questionnaires. The results showed that the learning based on indicators makeup photo which concept photo makeup, makeup types of photos, the principles apply makeup photos, knowledge and tools cosmetics makeup photos, makeup design and engineering in generally at the high category and provide a significant positive contribution to the readiness become make-up artists. Results of this study was recommended to teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Baleendah training in order to motivate the participants to further enhance the knowledge, attitudes and skills to apply makeup. The training participants learning should be the foundation makeup photo as capital to be ready to work as a make-up artist. Keywords: Make-up Photos, Make-up Artists
