| Summary: | Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui Efektivitas teknik permainan dan teknik sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pra-eksperimen, dengan Design Pretest-Postest Kelompok Statis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur berupa kuesioner yaitu alat ukur kepercayaan diri. Instrumen yang digunakan mengacu pada aspek dari Burton. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Langlangbuana 2 Bandung tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1) Gambaran tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa kelas VII SMP Langlangbuana 2 Bandung tahun ajaran 2013/2014 berada pada kategori sedang, 2) Terjadi peningkatan skor kepercayaan diri setelah dilakukannya treatment dengan teknik permainan dan teknik sosiodrama, 3) Analisis perhitungan data menggunakan Uji t (Paired Sample T test) untuk efektivitas teknik permainan dan teknik sosiodrama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara teknik permainan dan teknik sosiodrama dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Rekomendasi untuk guru BK adalah memahami lebih luas teknik-teknik yang terdapat dalam bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu permasalahan yang dihadapi peserta didik serta mampu menerapkan teknik permainan dan sosiodrama dalam menangani peserta didik yang mengalami kepercayaan diri rendah. Kata kunci: kepercayaan diri, peserta didik, teknik permainan dan teknik sosiodrama. The objective of this research is effectiveness game and sociodrama technique to improving student's self confidence. This research used quantitative approach with pre-experiment method through group static pretest-posttest design. The data in this research is collected with measuring instrument as questionnaire. Questionnaire is used to measure the student's self confidence. The instrument of this questionnaire is referring to self confidence aspects from Kate Burton. The population of this research is VII grade students from Langlangbuana 2 Junior High School Bandung, education period 2013/2014. The result of this research is : 1) explained that student's self confidence in VII grade from Langlangbuana 2 Junior High School Bandung is on medium grade. 2) the student's self confidence score is increased after researcher did treatment with games and sociodrama technique. 3) Researcher used Analysis Of uji t (Paired Sample T test) that there was no significant difference between games and sociodrama technique to improving student's self confidence. Researcher recommended for group and counselling teacher to understand more widely the methods on goup and counselling. So, the teacher can help student's problems and able to apply games and sociodrama technique to handle the student with lower self confidence.
