Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan "Prinsip jeung Maksim Omongan dina Paguneman kumpulan Carpon Panggung Wayang Karya Aam Amilia." Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan teknik dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian, tercatat 841 data ujaran dalam percakapan yang dianalisis berdasarkan prinsip dan maksim ujaran, maksud ujaran, dan tahapan pragmatis. Berdasarkan prinsip dan maksim, terbagi menjadi prinsip kerjasama dan prinsip kesopanan. Di dalam prinsip kerjasama terdapat maksim kuantitas, maksim kualitas, maksim relevansi, dan maksim pelaksanaan. Sedangkan prinsip kesopanan di dalamnya terdapat maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim kemufakatan, maksim simpati, maksim penghargaan, dan maksim kesederhanaan. Berdasarkan maksud ujarannya ditemukan kalimat komisif, impositif, ekspresif, dan asertif. Berdasarkan tahapan pragmatisnya ditemukan tahapan pragmatis sopan, wajar, kasar, dan campuran. Diharapkan dari penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat untuk ilmu kebahasaan, dijadikan bahan pengajaran untuk guru, dan dijadikan referensi oleh mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah yang berkaitan dengan ilmu kebahasaan bahasa Sunda, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan prinsip dan maksim. This research has the purpose to describe the prinsiple and maxims utterances in conversation that contained in collection of short stories Panggung Wayang by Aam Amilia. As for the description is including utterances that contained in the conversation, principle and maxims utterances, speech intent and pragmatic stages maxim. The method used in this research is analytic descriptive method. The technique used in this research is documentation. The source of research is a collection of short story Panggung Wayang by Aam Amilia. From the result of the research recorded 841 utterances that analysis based on the principle and maxim utterances, speech intent and pragmatic stages maxim. Based on principle and maxim, it is divided into cooperative principle and politeness principles. In cooperation principles contained in the maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance, and the maxim of implementation. Meanwhile the principles of politeness maxim contained wisdom maxim, generosity maxim, cooperative maxim, sympathy maxim, awards maxim, and the simplicity maxim. Based on the mean of utterances are divided into comissive, impositive, expressive, and assertive. Based on stages of pragmatic is divided into polite pragmatic, reasonable, rough, and mix. That is expected from this study can be beneficial for the science of language, used as teaching material for teachers, and used as a reference by student in courses related to the science of language of Sundanese, particularly with respect to principles and maxims.
