In society, Crochet is not a strange skill. In past time, Crochet was one of habits to spend the free time. This method become popular since it. Creates a varierty of fashionable styles. In this study, a creation of making dolls is include in to Crochet that become the main issue of this study, entitled"KUCING SEBGAI SUMBER GAGASAN DAN OBJEK BERKARYA BONEKA DENGAN TEKNIK RAJUT" The proscess of making the cat dolls in study using process passed several scetchets to build each characters of each dolls. After the dolls have their own distinguish characters, they were made into three dimension by using the basic techniques of Crochet. The techniques are: chain, single, double, and triple. Having finished the process of Crochet, the dolls were attached by accessories which can distinguish their features. The accessories it self were determined by their own characters. The name of the dolls is determined by using Japanese names because they are created in form of "Chibi" it is in attempt to make the dolls become more commersil. It doesn't only improve the keen on Crochet of young generation, is also expected to give the inspiration toward young generation to improve their eagerness to star Crochetting. So that, they can explore their creation in order to improve their creativity and also for financial side. Merajut bukanlah keterampilan yang asing lagi di mata publik. Jika diingat lagi pada masa lalu rajutan sering dijadikan sebagai peneman waktu luang. Kini metode rajutan kembali trend dengan kreasi-kreasi yang fashionable. Tak terlepas dari karya bonekapun diaplikasikan kepada karya "KUCING SEBAGAI SUMBER GAGASAN DAN OBJEK BERKARYA BONEKA DENGAN TEKNIK RAJUT" Proses pembuatan karya ini dibuat dengan menggunakan teknik-teknik dasar pada pembuatan rajut, dan sebelum beranjak ke area rajutan karya ini di buat dengan menggunakan sketsa terlebih dahulu dalam pembuatan karakter boneka, setelah karakter boneka-boneka dibuat kemudian di aplikasikan kedalam bentuk tiga dimensi yaitu menggunakan teknik rajut, diantaranya: menggunanakan teknik tusuk tunggal, tusuk rantai, tusuk ganda dan tusuk triple. Setelah aplikasi rajutan semua sudah selesai barulah pemberian aksesoris pada boneka rajut kucing, pemasangan aksesorispun dipasang berdasarkan dengan tiap-tiap karakter boneka yang dibuat. Nama -nama dari tiap karakter boneka ini sengaja diberi nama dengan menggunakan dalam bahasa Jepang dikarenakan boneka rajut kucing ini dibuat dalam bentuk chibi dan diharapkan boneka ini bisa lebih komersil. Tak terlepas dalam kegiatan merajut, diharapkan kegiatan ini bisa lebih maju lagi untuk menginspirasi bagi para kaum-kaum muda lainnya yang memiliki hobi merajut untuk bisa lebih mengekplorasi karya-karya rajutannya dengan tujuan untuk pengkaryaan maupun untuk tujuan finansial.
