520 | |a Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum tertibnya pengelolaan surat-menyurat di BP4KKP Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pengelolaan surat-menyurat, efektivitas kerja pegawai serta pengaruh pengelolaan surat menyurat terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai. Guna mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut digunakan metode penelitian explanatory survey. Dua variable yang diteliti yaitu variable bebas (X) ialah pengelolaan surat-menyurat dan variable terikat (Y) ialah efektivitas kerja pegawai. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variable X terhadap variable Y digunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan data diperoleh dari 37 orang responden terpilih. Sebelum penelitian dilakukan, instrument penelitian berupa angket dilakukan uji validiasi, reliabilitas. Data ordinal ditransformasikan ke data interval kemudian dilakukan uji persyaratan teknis yaitu uji normalitas, linieritas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan surat menyurat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di BPPPPKKP Kab. Bekasi. Saran yang disampaikan dari hasil penelitian ini ialah bahwa efektivitas kerja pegawai dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan surat-menyurat terutama pada tahapan penerimaan, pembuatan naskah surat keluar dan penyimpanan surat (pengarsipan). Efektivitas pegawai itu sendiri dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan aspek kuatitas, kuantitas dan pengembangan kualitas SDM Kata Kunci : Pengelolaan Surat-menyurat, Efektivitas Kerja Pegawai This research has not been effected in correspondence management Martinet BP4KKP Bekasi Regency. The research aims to know the implementation of the management of correspondence, the effectiveness of the work of employees as well as the influence of the management of correspondence terhadp the effectiveness of the work of employees. In order to achieve the objectives of the research the research method used explanatory survey Two subjects which is variable variable free ( x ): the management of correspondence and variable bound ( y ): the effectiveness of work of civil servants. To know the influence of x against variable variable y used simple linear regression analysis with the data obtained from 37 people of respondents was elected.
