Summary:This research is motivated by the lack of mathematical problem solving skills, especially the place value learning of a deaf student in primary school so it is necessary to improve it. The purpose of this research is to investigate the application of Concrete Representational Abstract (CRA) approach can improve the ability to determine the place value in the fourth grade deaf students SLB. The research method used was experimental methods and research design used was one group pre-test post - test design. The data processed using Wilcoxon test. The results of this research can improve understanding of place value in math students. Evident from the results obtained by students in the pre-test was 66.3 % and the post-test scores was 94.4 % and an average increase students was 28.15 %. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of the abstract concrete representational (CRA) approach can improve the understanding of place value in math in fourth grade deaf students in SLB B Sukapura Bandung. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, khususnya pembelajaran nilai tempat pada siswa tunarungu jenjang SD sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkannya. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menentukan nilai tempat pada siswa tunarungu kelas IV SDLB. Metode penelitiannya eksperimen dan desain penelitiannya adalah One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. Data diolah menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman nilai tempat dalam matematika siswa. Terbukti dari hasil yang diperoleh siswa pada pre-test sebesar 66,3% dan pada post-test sebesar 94,4% dan skor rata-rata peningkatan siswa sebesar 28,15%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan concrete-representational-abstract (CRA) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman nilai tempat dalam matematika pada siswa tunarungu kelas IV SDLB di SLB B Sukapura Bandung.
