Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Self-Instruction untuk meningkatkan Self-Regulated Learning siswa SMA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian eksperimen kuasi. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pandeglang tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 12 orang yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen Self-Regulated Learning yang telah melalui uji rasional dan empiris. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah uji Mann Whitney U Test dan N Gain. Diketahui bahwa bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik Self-Instruction memiliki nilai N gain sebesar 0,59 yang berada pada kategori cukup efektif. Sedangkan pada uji Mann Whitney U Test menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol memperoleh hasil perbedaan yang signifikan sebesar 0,016. Hasil yang diperoleh kemudian dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi guru Bimbingan dan Konseling untuk dapat memanfaatkan teknik Self-Instruction sebagai salah satu alternatif teknik yang dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan layanan bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan Self-Regulated Learning pada siswa. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of group guidance with the Self-Instruction technique in promoting the Self-Regulated Learning of High School students. The study used the quasi-experimental design of quantitative approach. The method used was Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study was the students of class X of State Senior High School 1 Pandeglang of the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample was 12 people who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The Self-Regulated Learning data collection instrument had undergone rational and empirical testing. The Mann Whitney U Test and N-Gain were used as the technique of analysis. It found that group guidance with Self-Instruction technique had the N-gain value of 0.59, which puts it in the fairly effective category. The results of the Mann Whitney U Test show that the average scores of the experimental group and the control group had a significant difference of 0.016. These results can become a consideration for the guidance and counseling teacher to use Self-Instruction as an alternative technique in group guidance service to improve students' Self-Regulated Learning.
