520 | |a Keterampilan proses sains sangat penting untuk dikembangkan dan dibiasakan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya dalam mata pelajaran IPAS. Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains siswa Sekolah Dasar menjadi latar belakang dari penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model role playing berbantuan media giatorys terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar serta untuk mengetahui peningkatkan skor akhir keterampilan proses sains siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran IPAS dengan menggunakan model role playing berbantuan media giatorys dibandingkan menggunakan model discovery learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group pada pokok pembahasan sistem pernafasan manusia dengan subjek sejumlah 52 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran adalah intrumen tes keterampilan proses sains dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan pengaruh model role playing berbantuan media giatorys terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 73,6%. Hasil uji N-Gain kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model role playing berbantuan media giatorys berada pada interpretasi tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model discovery learning berada di interpretasi sedang artinya siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran IPAS dengan menggunakan model role playing berbantuan media giatorys lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran IPAS dengan menggunakan model discovery learning. Peneliti merekomendasikan bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk berfokus pada keterampilan proses sains pada aspek lainnya seperti aspek pengetahuan. ----- Science process skills are very important to develop and get used to in the learning process, especially in science subjects. The low science process skills of elementary school students is the background for this research. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the role playing model assisted by giatorys media on increasing students' science process skills in science learning in elementary schools and to determine the increase in the final score of science process skills of students who receive science learning using the role playing model assisted by giatorys media compared to using discovery learning model. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design on the topic of discussing the human respiratory system with a total of 52 students as subjects. The instruments used to obtain data before and after learning are science process skills and documentation test instruments. The results of data analysis show that the influence of the role playing model assisted by giatorys media on students' science process skills is 73.6%. The results of the N-Gain test for the experimental class which used the role playing model assisted by giatorys media were in the high interpretation, while the control class which used the discovery learning model was in the medium interpretation, meaning that students who received science learning using the role playing model assisted by giatorys media were better than the students who received science learning using the discovery learning model. Researchers recommend that future research focus on science process skills in other aspects such as knowledge aspects. | ||
