Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil identitas diri dilihat dari pola asuh orang tua dan implikasinya bagi bimbingan dan konseling pada siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 9 bandung tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, metode ini digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, dan mengambil suatu generalisasi mengenai identitas diri siswa dilihat dari pola asuh orang tuanya, selanjutnya dari hasil temuan tersebut dijadikan dasar untuk menentukan implikasinya bagi bimbingan dan konseling. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Bandung yakni sejumlah 353 siswa, Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel yang apabila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Pada penelitian teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non-tes berupa non-tes berupa angket yang mengungkap identitas diri dan pola asuh orang tua. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: (1) Secara umum sebagian besar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Bandung memiliki identitas diri pada status moratorium (2). Sedangkan untuk pola asuh orang tua, siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Bandung menunjukan pola asuh enabling (3) Hasil uji korelasi, didapat bahwa pola asuh constraining memberikan pengaruh yang terhadap perkembangan identitas diri siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Bandung. Kata kunci: Identitas Diri, Pola Asuh Orang Tua Generally, this study aims to determine the identity profile views of parenting and their implications for guidance and counseling to the students of class XI in SMAN 9 bandung, academic year of 2013/2014. The method used is descriptive method, this method is used to describe, analyze, and take a generalization of the identity of the student views of parenting, next of these findings form the basis for determining the implications for guidance and counseling. The study population was all students of class XI SMAN 9 Bandung in academic year 2013/2014 the number of population is 353 students, research is conducted using saturation sampling technique, sampling technique that, if all members of the population used as a sample. In the study of data collection techniques using non-test in the form of non-test a questionnaire that revealed the self identity and parenting. The results obtained are: (1) In general, most of the students of class XI of SMAN 9 Bandung has a moratorium identity status (2). As for parenting parents, a class XI student of SMAN 9 Bandung showed enabling parenting (3) The results of the correlation test, found that parenting constraining influence on the development of self-identity is a class XI student of SMAN 9 Bandung.
