520 | |a Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk menelaah perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan Differentiated Instruction dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional, dan untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Differentiated Instruction. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa pada salah satu SMP di kabupaten Bandung, dengan sampel dipilih dua kelas dari tigabelas kelas. Untuk menelaah perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, dikumpulkan data pretes dan postes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan. Data tersebut diolah secara statistik dengan pengujian normalitas terlebih dahulu. Pada data pretes, data tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga dilanjutkan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal berpikir kreatif matematis pada kedua kelas tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Adapun, untuk melihat peningkatan yang terjadi, dilakukan uji indeks gain. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh, bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran Differentiated Instruction lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Adapun untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Differentiated Instruction, diolah angket sikap siswa yang diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh, siswa menunjukkan sikap yang positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan Differentiated Instruction. Kata kunci : Pendekatan Differentiated Instruction, kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. This research is the experiments quasi research that aims to examine the difference of increase mathematical creative thinking ability between the students who have learned mathematics using Differentiated Instruction Aprroach and the students who have learned mathematics using conventional learning, and to know student's attitudes against learning of Differentiated Instruction approach. The population of this research is all students on one junior high school in Bandung district, with samples selected are two classes from thirteen classes. For examining the difference of increase mathematical creative thinking ability, collected pretest and posttest data of mathematical creative thinking ability that obtained from the research has been done. The data processed statistically with normality test first. In prestest data, the data is not normally distribution, so continued with Mann-Whitney test. The result of statistic test shows that the beginning of mathematical creative thinking ability in two classes is not different significantly. As for to know the increase that happened, using the gain index test. The conclusions obtained, that the increase of mathematical creative thinking ability in students who have learned mathematics using Differentiated Instruction Aprroach is higher than the increase of mathematical creative thinking ability in students have learned mathematics using conventional learning. As for to know the student's attitudes against learning of Differentiated Instruction approach, processed the students attitudes questionnaire that obtained from the research has benn done. The conclusions obtained, students show positive attitudes against mathematic learning with Differentiated Instruction approach.
