| Summary: | Berdasarkan pengalaman yang diperoleh dalam melaksanakan Program Pelatihan Lapangan (PPL) di SMK teknologi, terjadi beberapa hambatan yang dirasakan saat melaksanakan PPL. Melihat dari hasil pengamatan peneliti di SMK N 2 Bandung, terlihat bahwa praktikan PPL ada juga yang tidak menguasai materi tentang pemesinan dan tidak siap untuk mengajar praktek pemesinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan deskripsi relevansi materi mata kuliah bidang keahlian dan materi mata pelajaran produktif teknik pemesinan SMK teknologi terhadap materi uji kompetensi, dan untuk menghasilkan pemetaan sekuen materi mata kuliah pemesinan dan mata pelajaran produktif teknik pemesinan SMK Teknologi terhadap materi uji kompetensi. Berdasarkan masalah dan tujuan itu digunakan metode penelitian evaluasi deskripansi, untuk melihat kesenjangan materi pemesinan yang ada di SMK dan DPTM serta materi standar uji kompetensi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa materi mata kuliah pemesinan dan materi mata pelajaran pemesinan sudah 100% relevan dengan uji kompetensi standar BSNP. Akan tetapi masih ada materi praktik yang dipraktikan di SMK, tetapi di perkuliahan tidak di peraktikan. Materi itu diantaranya membubut ulir majemuk dan membubut tirus menggunakan alat bantu taper attachment. Untuk mencegah hal tersebut maka harus ada penambahan benda kerja atau mengubah benda kerja yang dibuat, dimana didalamnya mencakup semua materi praktik tersebut. Key Words: Relevansi, Mata Kuliah Pemesinan, Mata Pelajaran Produktif Teknik Pemesinan, Based on the experience gained during pre-service teacher internships program (Program Pelatihan Lapangan) in Vocational High School 2 Bandung, there were some obstacles occurred. The observation researcher done suggested that some of the pre-service teachers have not mastered the mechanical engineering subjects and have not been ready yet to teach. Therefore this study is conducted to elaborate descriptively the relevance of, and to generate mapping sequence of the subjects on mechanical engineering at University and Vocational High School concerning competency test materials. Regarding those problems and purposes, discrepancy evaluation model is used in order to find out the gap on mechanical engineering subjects and standard competency test materials between University and Vocational High School. The result of the study shows that mechanical engineering subjects at University and Vocational High School is 100% relevant to Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) standard competency test. However, there are practicum materials in Vocational High School which are not taught at University. They are compound threading and chamfering by taper attachment. Under that circumstance, the work piece should be augmented to avoid the problem occurring or by changing the work piece produced so that it will cover all of the practicum materials.
