Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis proses pembentukan kata yang terdapat dalam sebuah teks. Pembentukan kata termasuk dalam ilmu morfologi linguistik. Pembentukan kata merupakan bahasan yang sangat menarik untuk diteliti dan mengundang banyak masalah yang harus dicarikan jalan keluarnya yang sistematis, khususnya bagi para ahli bahasa. Hal ini guna memperkaya ilmu kebahasaan itu sendiri. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat-kalimat dalam teks rubrik C'est Mon Histoire pada majalah Elle edisi Desember 2013- Januari 2014 yang berjumlah delapan artikel. Adapun sampel dari penelitian ini adalah empat artikel. Penelitian kualitatif terhadap teks naratif ini menggunakan teknik penyampelan purposive sampling atau sampel bertujuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar temuan leksikon yang mengandung prefiks dan sufiks dalam rubrik C'est Mon Histoire majalah Elle edisi Desember 2013-Januari 2014 merupakan morfologi inflektif dan terdapat pula yang mengandung dua proses morfologis sekaligus dalam satu kata dasar,yaitu infleksi dan derivasi. Kata kunci: analisis, morfologi, prefiks, sufiks, derivasi, infleksi The objective of this study is to analyze the process of formation of words that contained in a text. The formation of words is the part of Linguistics. The formation of words is a very interesting topic to study, since it has some problems which need to be addressed systematically, especially among the linguists. This effort is intended to enrich the knowledge of linguistics itself. Therefore, researcher intends to perform a morphology analysis on article C'est Mon Histoire from the December 2013-January 2014 issue of Elle magazine. The population in this study are the sentences in the text rubric C'est Mon Histoire December 2013-January 2014 issue of Elle magazine amounting to 8 articles. This qualitative study on narrative text uses purposive sampling technique. The result of this study shows the most findings lexicon containing prefixes and suffixes in the rubric C'est Mon Histoire is an inflectional morphology, and there is also some singles words that containing two morphological processes, inflection and derivation.
