Summary:Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rumusan bimbingan pribadi-sosial yang efektif untuk mengembangkan karakter hormat peserta didik kelas X SMA PGRI 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode pra eksperimen dan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat pengungkap data yang digunakan yaitu Instrumen Penelitian Karakter Hormat Peserta Didik SMA dengan bentuk skala sikap. Statistik parametrik digunakan untuk analisis data. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) gambaran karakter hormat peserta didik; (2) rumusan bimbingan pribadi-sosial yang layak menurut pakar dan praktisi; dan (3) gambaran efektivitas bimbingan pribadi-sosial untuk mengembangkan karakter hormat peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Pribadi-Sosial, Karakter Hormat, Peserta Didik SMA. The purpose of this research is to produce an effective personal-social guidance's formula to develop the student's character of respect, class of X in SMA PGRI 1 Bandung Academic Year 2013/2014. The approach used quantitative, pre-experimental methods and research design One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The Instrument that used in this research is The Instrumental Research of High School Students Character of Respect which shaped attitude scale. Parametric statistic used in this research to analysis data. The results of the research are: (1) description of student's character of respect, (2) formulation of the personal-social guidance that appropriate according to the experts and practitioners, and (3) description of effectiveness personal-social guidance's formula to develop the character of respect students.
