Akhir-akhir ini, persaingan dalam aktivitas bisnis semakin ketat. Banyak perusahaan mencoba untuk mengeliminasi aktivitas tidak bernilai tambah. Pengurangan aktivitas memilki tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi aktivitas yang dibutuhkan. Pendekatan lean manufacturing merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk menghilangkan aktivias tidak bernilai tambah yang dapat menyebabkan pemborosan. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana peranan lean manufacturing dapat menunjang efisiensi aktivitas logistik PT. Silver Kris dengan mengidentifikasi aktivitas-aktivitas pada perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada dua aktivitas tidak bernilai tambah yang menyebabkan timbulnya pemborosan baik dari segi biaya, waktu dan sumber daya. Kedua aktivitas itu adalah stock opname dan repacking, untuk aktivitas stock opname dikurangi konsumsi waktu dan sumber daya dalam prosesnya sedangkan aktivitas repacking harus dihilangkan dalam proses aktivitas perusahaan. Nowadays, the competition in business activities are increasingly tight. Many companies are trying to eliminate non value added activities. The reduction activities have the goal to increase the efficiency of activity required. Lean manufacturing approach is one of the approaches that can be used to eliminate non value added activities that can lead to waste. This study describes how the role of lean manufacturing can support the efficiency of logistics activity of PT. Silver Kris by identifying the company's activities. The research method used descriptive qualitative research by using a case study approach. The results show there are two non value added activities emerge waste in terms of cost, time and resources. Both two activities are stock opname and repacking, stock opname activities reduces the consumption of time and resources in the process while repacking activities should be eliminated in the process of corporate activity.
