Penelitian ini berjudul "Desain Didaktis Sifat-Sifat Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar untuk Meningkatkan Level Berpikir Geometri Siswa SMP". Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 10 Bandung pada siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh proses pembelajaran materi geometri yang kurang memperhatikan level berpikir geometri sehingga berakibat pada rendahnya level berpikir geometri siswa tingkat SMP. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah membuat desain didaktis alternatif yang mempertimbangkan level berpikir geometri sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan level berpikir geometri siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif berupa DDR (Didactical Design Research) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui uji instrumen dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan level berpikir geometri siswa sampai pada level 2 (pengurutan) dan 56,52% siswa mengalami peningkatan level berpikir geometri. Desain didaktis ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif bahan ajar pada pembelajaran sifat-sifat bangun ruang sisi datar. Background of this research is geometry teaching that less attention to the level of geometric thinking and because of that, junior high student's level of geometric thinking is still low. Based on that background, the purpose of this study is to create didactical designs that attention to the level of geometric thinking so the student's level of geometric thinking can be increase. The research method that used in this study is a qualitative method of DDR (Didactical Design Research) with data collection techniques through instrument testing and documentation studies. The results showed that an increase in the student's level of geometry thinking until level 2 (ordering) and 56.52% of students had increase in levels of geometry thinking. This didactical design can be used as an alternative of instructional materials on learning the properties of polyhedron.
