Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung kebutuhan air domestik dan menganalisis tingkat pelayanan distribusi air bersih dari PDAM Tirta Dharma Kota Surakarta di Kelurahan Pasar Kliwon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan melakukan wawancara untuk memperoleh data primer, studi literatur dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data skunder. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari sampel wilayah dan sampel pelanggan PDAM Tirta Dharma Kota Surakarta di Kelurahan Pasar Kliwon. Sampel pelanggan dipilih sebanyak 45 orang dari 449 jumlah populasi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Random Sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi fisik dan sosial di Kelurahan Pasar Kliwon merupakan kawasan padat penduduk dengan sangat sedikit lahan terbuka untuk daerah tampungan atau resapan air dan sebagian besar penduduk menggantungkan pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersihnya pada PDAM. Tingkat pendidikan sudah menunjukkan kesadaran pentingnya pendidikan bagi masyarakat. Diidentifikasi dari kondisi tersebut maka diketahui bahwa rata-rata jumlah kebutuhan air untuk kebutuhan domestik di Kelurahan Pasar Kliwon adalah 120 liter/jiwa/hari melebihi standar yang ditetapkan oleh Ditjen Cipta Karya yaitu 90 liter/jiwa/hari. Analisis data primer dan skunder menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kebutuhan yang tinggi tersebut tidak diiringi dengan baiknya pelayanan yang diberikan oleh PDAM Tirta Dharma sebagai pihak pengelola. Penduduk yang sudah terlayani hanya 27,14% dari 6.619 jiwa penduduknya. Dari semua wilayah yang memiliki tingkat kebutuhan air domestik di atas standar, yang sudah terlayani secara merata adalah bagian Utara wilayah Kelurahan Pasar Kliwon. Village of Pasar Kliwon is a region in the heart of the city of Surakarta who have problems in meeting the needs of clean water, particularly domestic water requirements for household whose distribution is managed by PDAM Tirta Dharma of Surakarta. The purpose of this study was to calculate the domestic water needs and analyze the level of the water distribution service of PDAM Tirta Dharma city of Surakarta in Village of Pasar Kliwon. The method used in this study was a survey by conducting interviews to obtain primary data, literature and documentation to obtain secondary data. The sample in this study consisted of a sample area and sample customer PDAM Tirta Dharma city of Surakarta in Village of Pasar Kliwon. Samples selected customers as many as 45 people from 449 the number of population with sampling technique Random Sampling. Based on the results of the study indicate that the physical and social conditions in the village of Pasar Kliwon is a densely populated area with very little open land for reservoirs or water catchment areas and the majority of the population dependent on the fulfillment of their water taps. The level of education has shown awareness of the importance of education for the community. Identified from these conditions, it is known that the average amount of water needs for domestic needs in the Village of Pasar Kliwon is 120 liters / person / day exceeds the standards set by the Ditjen Cipta Karya is 90 liters / person / day. Primary and secondary data analysis showed that the high level of demand is not accompanied by good service provided by PDAM Tirta Dharma as the manager. Residents who have been served only 27.14% of the 6619 population soul. Of all the regions which have high levels of domestic water needs above the standard, which has served evenly is the northern part of the Village of Pasar Kliwon.
