Pemilihan karir yang sesuai bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah dilakukan, siswa SMK khususnya dituntut mampu secara pribadi memahami dan menghayati dirinya sehingga dapat menentukan jurusan yang sesuai dan mempunyai kemantapan dalam karir. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, peneliti perlu melakukan kajian tentang pengaruh kesesuaian hubungan antara tipe kepribadian dan kemantapan pilihan karir. Penelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis bagaimana kesesuaian hubungan antara tipe kepribadian terhadap kemantapan pemilihan karir siswa dan (2) menganalisis bagaimana tingkat pengaruh kesesuaian hubungan antara tipe kepribadian terhadap kemantapan pemilihan karir siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non ekeperimental, meneliti hubungan sebab akibat yang tidak dimanipulasi atau diberi perlakuan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, alat pengumpulan data berupa inventori dan angket dengan penilaian menggunakan skala likert dan pengujian hipotesis digunakan uji t melalui model korelasi product moment. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu 100 orang siswa terdiri dari 20 siswa pada masing-masing jurusan kelas XI di SMK N 3 Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara tipe kepribadian dengan pemilihan karir siswa. Penelitian direkomendasikan kepada guru pembimbing dalam upaya memantapkan pemilihan karir siswa di SMK. Kata kunci : Tipe Kepribadian, Kemantapan Karir Selection of an appropriate career is not something easy to do, especially vocational students supposedly able to personally understand and appreciate him so as to determine the appropriate department and have stability in career. Based on this background, researchers need to conduct a study on the influence of the suitability of the relationship between personality type and stability of career choice. The research aims to: (1) analyze how the suitability of the relationship between personality type and stability of student career choice (2) to analyze how the relationship between the degree of influence the suitability of the type of personality to the stability of career choice of students. The study used a quantitative approach to non ekeperimental, examine the causal relationship that is not manipulated or treated. Research using quantitative descriptive methods, data collection tools such as inventory and assessment using a questionnaire with Likert scale and hypothesis testing used t tests through product moment correlation models. The research sample using random sampling techniques, namely 100 students consisted of 20 students in each class majoring XI in SMK N 3 Bandar Lampung. The results showed a strong correlation between personality type with career choice of students. The study recommended to the supervising teacher in an effort to strengthen the selection of students in vocational careers. Keywords : Personality Type, Career Stability
