Summary: | Penelitian ini diangkat dari permasalahan bagaimana upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di SD N 14 Sungai Tarab. Penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disinyalir karena kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam melakukan variasi model pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji implementasi model Concept Attainment berbasis multimedia dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah the static group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V Semester 2 Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Sungai Tarab. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian adalah teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar jenis pilihan ganda, lembar observasi aktivitas keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran, dan angket sikap siswa dan guru. Berdasarkan analisis dan pengolahan data hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pertama, implementasi model Concept Attainment berbasis multimedia efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada matapelajaran IPA. Kedua, hasil belajar siswa tidak mengalami perbedaan hasil belajar pada aspek mengingat. Ketiga, hasil belajar siswa mengalami perbedaan hasil belajar pada aspek memahami, mengaplikasikan, dan menganalisis. Keempat, aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar menggunakan model Concept Attainment berbasis multimedia menunjukkan aktivitas yang tinggi dalam pelaksanaan model Concept Attainment. Kelima, Respon guru dan siswa terhadap implementasi model Concept Attainment berbasis multimedia pada MATA pelajaran Ilmu pengetahuan Alam menunjukkan respon positif selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Kata kunci: Model Concept Attainment, Multimedia, Hasil belajar This reseachis conducted based on the problem how to improve the student's learning result of grade 5 SD N 14 Sungai Tarab. The cause of unsuccessful learning achievement is might be the resultof teacher's low competency in implementing various teaching model.The purpose of this reseach is test the implementation of Concept Attainment models based on multimedia in improving student's learning result. This was a kind of experiment quasi reseach and used the pretets posttest nonequivalent control group design as reseach design. The population of this reseach was all of the students of grade 5 SD N 14 Sungai Tarab. Tehnique of purposive reading was implemented to determine sample. The reseach instruments were objective learning tests, activity observation sheet of learning model implemented, as well as student and teachers questionnaire. Based on data analizing, it can be concluded some reseach result as following. First, Implementation Concept Attainment models is effective in improving student's learning result.Second, there was no differenciate in student's learning result of remembering aspect. Third , there was differenciate in student's learning result of understanding,applying and analizing aspect was no differenciate in student's learning result of remembering aspect. Forth, student's activities showed high learning activities after the Concept Attainment models based on multimedia was implemented. Fifth, responses of teacher and student showed their positive responses during the implementation of Concept Attainment models based on multimedia.
