TujuannyaadalahmengetahuipemahamankonseppadasiswatentangpelestarianlingkunganhidupdenganmetodepembelajaranOutdoor StudydansebagaisumberbelajaradalahKampung Naga diKabupatenTasikmalaya.PemilihanKampung Naga sebagaitempatmelakukaneksperimendikarenakanKampung Naga merupakansalahsatucontohkampung yang secaraalamiahberhasilmenjagakelestarianlingkungan.Metode yang digunakandalampenelitianinikuasieksperimendenganPretest Posttest Equivalent Groups.Sampelpenelitianiniterdiridariduakelasyaitukelas VIII B sebagaikelaseksperimendenganmemanfaatkanKampung Naga melaluimetodepembelajaranOutdoor Studydankelas VIII A sebagaikelaskontroldenganmemanfaatkanKampung Naga melaluimetodepembelajaranGallery Walk. Instrumenpenelitianiniterdiriatastes, lembarobservasi, lembartugasdanangket.Analisis data menggunakananalisisujinormalitas, analisishomogenitas, analisi N-Gain, analisisujihipotesisdenganmenggunakanujistatistikparametrikPaired Samples T-Test. Hasilpenelitianmenunjukanbahwa (1) terdapatperbedaanhasiltespadapemahamankonseppelestarianlingkungansebelumdansesudahperlakuan di kelaseksperimenmelaluimetodepembelajaranOutdoor Study, (2) terdapatperbedaanhasiltespadapemahamankonseppelestarianlingkungansebelumdansesudahperlakuan di kelaskontrolmelalui model pembelajaranGallery Walk, (3) pesertadidikmemilikitanggapan yang sangatpositifmengenaipenerapanpembelajaran yang langsung di luarkelas(Outdoor Study). All components agreed to lift the attitude and wisdom on the environment that need to transfer knowledge through educational institutions. Understanding the form of the values in the learning process needs to be passed on to each generation. On that basis, the study was conducted under the title "Influence of Outdoor Learning Method Study in Kampung Naga Against Environmental Conservation Concept Training Students of Class VIII MTsN Singaparna". The goal was to determine the students' understanding of the concept of environmental conservation with learning methods Outdoors Study and as a source of learning is Kampung Naga in Tasikmalaya district. Selection of Kampung Naga as a place to do experiments because Kampung Naga is one example of the village managed to preserve the natural environment. The method used in this quasi-experimental study with pretest posttest Equivalent Groups. The study sample consisted of two classes of class VIII B as a class experiment by utilizing Kampung Naga through learning methods Outdoors Study and VIII A as a control class by utilizing Kampung Naga through learning methods Gallery Walk. The research instrument consisted of tests, observation sheets, job sheets and questionnaires. Analyzed using tests of normality, homogeneity analysis, analysis of N-Gain, hypothesis testing analysis using parametric statistical tests Paired Samples T-Test. The results showed that (1) there is a difference in the results of tests on the understanding of the concept of environmental protection before and after treatment in the experimental class through learning methods Outdoors Study, (2) there is a difference in the results of tests on understanding the concept of environmental protection before and after treatment in the control class through the model learning Gallery Walk, (3) students have very positive feedback regarding the direct application of learning outside the classroom (Outdoor Study). This shows that the process of learning to use the environment, especially Kampung Naga as a source of learning affect the understanding of the concept of learners.
