520 | |a Penelitian ini merupakan suatu penelitian kuasi eksperimenyang bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan apakah self-regulated learning siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model project based learning lebih baik dari siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran langsung, selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan model project based learning. Penelitian berawal dari masalah rendahnya self-regulated learning siswa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika, padahal self-regulated learning memiliki peranan penting dalam keberhasilan belajar siswa. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model project based learning dan kelas kontrol menerapkan pembelajaran langsung. Adapun yang menjadi subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Lembang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan self-regulated learning siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model project based learning lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran langsung, hal ini terlihat dari hasil rata-rata peningkatan self-regulated learning siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol; siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran yang menerapkan model project based learning. This research is anquasi experimentresearch for the purpose of answering the question: is self-regulated learning of the students who have treated with project based learning model better than students with directical instruction model's have. Beside of that, the aim ofthis research is to see how is the student's response on mathematics learning with project based learning model. The research is initiated due to the fact that the lack of self-regulated learning that the students have at this point in time, though that the self-regulated learning is quite important in mathematics learning. Because of the fact that, the treatment is given to experiment class which is in form of project based learning model, while the control class is treated with directional instruction model. The 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lembang become the subject of this reserach. According to the whole result, we have a conclusion that the self-regulated learning progress of experiment class which have treated with project based learning is better than the control class's have. It can be seen from the mean score of it, its mean score is higher than the control class yet the students give a positive response to these learning model. | ||
