Summary:SMK perlu memiliki sebuah rencana stratejik (renstra) yang mapan, yang didasarkan pada analisis situasi internal dan eksternal, yang dapat mereposisi setiap unsur diluar organisasi yang berpengaruh terhadap implementasinya seperti kinerja manajerial Kepala Sekolah (KS), struktur, budaya, kekuasaan dan kewenangan, komitmen organisasi, komunikasi, fasilitas, teknologi dan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM). Permasalahan yang ingin dijawab meliputi : Bagaimana implementasi renstra di SMK, bagaimana peran KS dalam implementasi renstra di SMK, bagaimana dukungan SIM terhadap implementasi renstra di SMK, seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja manajerial KS terhadap implementasi renstra, seberapa besar pengaruh pemanfaatan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) terhadap implementasi renstra, secara simultan, seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja manajerial KS dan SIM terhadap implementasi renstra di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner/angket. Populasi berjumlah 41 SMK jurusan Teknologi Komputer Jaringan (TKJ) yang dikelompokkan kedalam 3 Kelompok wilayah UPTD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja manajerial KS berada pada kategori tinggi, pemanfaatan SIM berada pada kategori tinggi, implementasi renstra berada pada kategori tinggi, kinerja manajerial KS berpengaruh terhadap efektifitas implementasi renstra, pemanfaatan SIM berpengaruh terhadap efektifitas implementasi renstra, juga kinerja manajerial KS dan pemanfaatan SIM secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap implementasi renstra. Simpulannya bahwa kinerja manajerial KS sudah sesuai, pemanfaatan SIM sedang dikembangkangkan, kinerja manajerial KS berpengaruh positif, kuat dan signifikan terhadap efektifitas implementasi renstra, pemanfaatan SIM berpengaruh positif, kuat dan signifikan terhadap implementasi renstra, kinerja manajerial KS dan pemanfaatan SIM secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif, sangat kuat dan signifikan terhadap implementasi renstra. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah kepada seluruh stakeholder SMK untuk dapat menjalankan role of model, meningkatkan pay attention, berpartisipasi aktif dalam organisasi profesi, dan lain-lain. Vocational High School (SMK) should have a good-quality strategic plan. The strategic plan underlined by internal and external environment analysis is able to transform every external variable that affects the implementation. Those variables are such as principal performance, structure, culture, authority, SIM, communication, facility, technology, and information system. Therefore, this study was aimed to answer: How strategic plan was implemented at vocational schools; How principal performance was performed within strategic plan implementation at vocational schools; How system information of management (SIM) supported strategic plan implementation at Vocational schools; What the affect of principal performance to strategic plan implementation was; What the affect of SIM to strategic plan implementation was; Simultaneously, what the affect of principal performance and SIM to strategic plan implementation was This study employed descriptive quantitative approach with a questionnaire as its instrument. The population of this study was all Vocational schools (41 schools) in District Bandung that were classified into three groups of work area. The sample of this study was 41Vocational High School.The findings revealed that: the category of principal performance was good; the category of SIM was good; the category of effectivity of strategic plan implementation was good; principal performance affected the effectivity of strategic plan implementation; SIM affected the effectivity of strategic plan implementation; principal performance and SIM affected the effectivity of strategic plan implementation. It can be concluded that principal performance has emerged and high category, SIM has appeared and high category, principal performance and SIM has appeared and high category, principal performance had a positive and significant affect to the effectivity strategic plan implementation strongly; SIM had a positive and significant affect to the effectivity of strategic plan implementation strongly; simultaneously, principal performance and SIM had a positive and significant affect to the effectivity of strategic plan strongly. It was recommended that stakeholders should develop the role of models, increasing pay attention, actively participate in professional organizations, etc.
