| Summary: | Spray gun merupakan alat semprot untuk melukis. Pengaplikasian alat tersebut bisa dilakukan pada media apapun termasuk kain. Kawalu yang berada di Kota Tasikmalaya merupakan daerah penghasil pakaian seperti baju, mukena, kerudung dan lain-lain. Pakaian tersebut selain dijahit juga diberi hiasan-hiasan dengan teknik bordir, sesuai perkembangan zaman pemberian hiasan ini kini memiliki teknik baru yaitu kajian motif dengan teknik spray gun pada busana dan mukena karya pengrajin. Motif teknik spray gun ditekuni oleh para pengrajin sejak tahun 2009. Inovasi tersebut mendorong penulis mengetahui bagaimana penerapan motif teknik Spray gun ini dibuat. Oleh karena itu rumusan masalah dan tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1. Bagaimana unsur visual dan prinsip visual yang digunakan pada motif busana dan mukena oleh pengrajin di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya. 2. Bagaimana penerapan motif pada busana dan mukena oleh pengrajin di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Motif-motif yang diterapkan adalah motif bunga, buah dan kartun. Keseluruhan berjumlah 13 motif yang diaplikasikan pada busana dan mukena, mayoritas memiliki garis lengkungan-lengkungan dan beberapa diantaranya garis zig-zag. Hampir keseluruhan motifnya jenis bidang non geometris, keseluruhan tekstur kasar nyata, dan warna yang terdiri dari campuran dua sampai tiga warna. Harmoni terlihat dari segi arah membentuk huruf s dan y dan tersusun menyebar. Pada kontras, mayoritas termasuk pada jenis kontras discord. Pada irama, rata-rata terlihat dari motif yang disusun secara berulang. Pada gradasi, beberapa motif menampilkan gradasi warna dari warna putih menuju warna kuning. Pada keseimbangan, kebanyakan keseimbangan simetris. Penerapan motif teknik spray gun memerlukan alat utama yang disebut spray gun. Alat ini berfungsi untuk menyemburkan cat pada kain. Tekniknya menggunakan teknik stensil melalui tahapan melubangi cetakan. Spray gun is a spray technique which used for paintings. The use of the techniques applied on various materials including fabric. Kawalu is placed in the Tasikmalaya City which infamous as the clothing maker such as daily clothes, prayer clothes, veils, and etc. The clothes are also embedded with beautiful decorations using border technique. As the recent technology develops, the decorations have many techniquess, which one of them is the use of spray gun technique on clothing fabric. The spray gun design is carefully learned by the clothes maker since 2009. The innovation drove the researcher to observe the use if this technique. Based on that matter the researcher wish to observe; 1. The element art and principle art by craftman on the clothing and prayer clothes by crafman in district Kawalu Tasikmalaya City, 2. The application design on the clothing and prayer clothes by crafman in district Kawalu Tasikmalaya City. The research implied descriptive analytic method with the use of qualitative approach. The data is collected through interview, documentation of pictures and videos, and observation on the direct location which is Gunung Tandala Village, Dictrict Kawalu, Tasikmalaya City. Based on the research, it is concluded that; the applied designs are using the plants ornaments such as flowers, fruits and cartoon. The thirteen designs which applied on the clothes and prayer clothes, almost all of them have the curve lines and some of them are zig-zag. Almost all of the designs, the surface, the geometrical, the rough texture and the colors, are composed from the mixture of two or three colors. The harmony can be seen from the lines shaping the letter of S and Y, and some of them emphasize the harmony from the tidy lines that spread across the fabric. In contrast, the majority are belong to Biscord type of contrast. In the rhyme, on the average it can be seen from the designs that lined up repeatedly. In gradation, some of the designs shows the color gradation from white through yellow. On the balance, most are asymmetrical, most of the composition showed the horizontal composition. The application of Spray gun technique needs a main tool which is called brush/ spray gun. The tools functioned to spread the paint on the fabric. The technique is using the stencil technique through perforating the mold. |
