Summary:Pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di SMAN 13 Bandung, sebagian besar siswa berpendapat keterampilan berbicara merupakan hal yang tersulit. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memilih model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jepang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jepang siswa sebelum dan setelah mendapat perlakuan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR). Selain itu, bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen murni. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 13 Bandung tahun ajaran 2014-2015. Sampel penelitiannya adalah 36 siswa kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa X MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, sebelum diberikan perlakuan, nilai mean kelas eksperimen sebesar 2,70 dan kelas kontrol 2,69. Karena nilai thitung lebih kecil daripada ttabel, maka tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel. Namun setelah mendapatkan perlakuan, nilai mean kelas eksperiman sebesar 5,97 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 3,04. Nilai thitung diperoleh sebesar 20,93. Karena nilai thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel, maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jepang. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket, sebagian besar siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR). Japanese learning in Bandung 13 Junior High School, most of student opine that Japanese speaking skills is the one difficult. In this research, author have chosen Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model to increase Japanese speaking skill. The purpose of this research is to know about Japanese speaking skills of student, before and after application of Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model. Moreover, to know student response about Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model. The research type is true experimental. The population on this research are students in first grade at Bandung 13 Senior High School in academic year of 2014-2015. Then, the sample of this research are 36 students from class X MIA 1 as experiment class and 36 students from class X MIA 2 as control class. From the analysis of research data obtained that average grade of experiment class before getting treatment was 2,70, and control class was 2,69. The tcalculate is lower than ttable , hence Hk rejected Ho accepted. It means, there isn't significant differences between both of variable. But, after getting treatment, average grade of experiment class was 5,97 and control class was 3,04. The ttable with degree of freedom 71 was 2,00 (5%) and 2,65 (1%), and tcalculate it was 20,93. Because tcalculate is higher than ttable , hence Hk accepted Ho rejected. It means, there is a significant differences between both of variable. It can be conclude that Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model can increase Japanese speaking skills. Futhermore, based on result of questionnaire data, most of student give positive response about Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model.
