Summary:Pengembangan bahan ajar IPA Terpadu menggunakan Four Steps Teaching Material Development dengan tema pemanasan global bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa modul dengan tema pemanasan global yang dapat digunakan siswa untuk sumber belajar mandiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Obyek penelitian adalah bahan ajar IPA terpadu tema pemanasan global. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII sebanyak 75 orang pada salah satu MTs di kabupaten Indramayu. Proses pengembanganya meliputi tahapan seleksi menghasilkan kompilasi materi yang dikembangkan dari hasil pemilihan 8 kompetensi dasar yang berasal dari kompetensi inti 1, 2, 3, dan 4 serta perumusan 27 indikator yang berasal dari kurikulum 2013. Tahapan strukturisasi dihasilkan draft bahan ajar kedua yang disusun berdasarkan peta konsep, struktur makro, dan multipel representasi yang telah dibuat. Tahapan karakterisasi diperoleh 7 paragraf uraian konsep yang teridentifikasi untuk dilakukan penguraian tingkat kesulitan melalui tahap reduksi didaktik. Tahapan reduksi didaktik menggunakan cara reduksi didaktik berupa analogi, generalisasi, partikulasi, pengabaian perbedaan pernyataan konsep, dan penggunaan gambar serta ilustrasi. Draft bahan ajar yang telah melalui tahap reduksi didaktik kemudian disusun kembali menjadi bahan ajar berupa modul. Hasil pengujian kelayakan bahan ajar diperoleh informasi bahwa bahan ajar yang telah dibuat telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan bahan ajar sesuai yang direkomendasikan oleh BSNP. Hasil uji keterpahaman siswa tehadap penggunaan bahan ajar termasuk kategori instruksional. Kata kunci: bahan ajar, IPA terpadu, pemanasan global, four steps teaching material development The aim of developing an integrated science teaching materials using the Four Steps Teaching Materials Development with the theme of global warming is produce teaching materials in the form of modules with global warming theme that students can use it for self-learning resources. The method used is the research and development. Object of research is teaching materials science integrated with global warming theme was developed. Subjects were students of class VII in one of MTs in Indramayu district as many as 75 participants. Selection process on this development produce a material compilation which developed by election of 8 basic competencies and formulation of 27 indicators derived from the curriculum in 2013. In the structuring phase resulting second draft based on concept maps, macro structures, and multiple representations that have been made. Characterization gained 7 paragraph description of the concepts identified for the decomposition degree of difficulty through didactic reduction phase. Didactic reduction used are didactic analogy, generalization, partiparticulation, neglect differences concept statement, and the use of images and illustrations. Teaching materials that have gone through didactic reduction phase and then rearranged into modules form. Results of testing the feasibility of teaching materials obtained information that teaching materials that have been made have met the eligibility criteria for teaching materials as recommended by the National Education Standards.
