Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN Se-Kota Bandung. Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai belum optimalnya motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif administrasi perkantoran. Beberapa faktor yang diduga menyebabkan belum optimalnya motivasi belajar siswa tersebut adalah kompetensi profesional guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif administrasi perkantoran di SMKN Se-Kota Bandung. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 guru mata pelajaran produktif administrasi perkantoran di SMKN Se-Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara tidak berstruktur dan penyebaran angket (kuisioner). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan analisis regresi sederhana, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. The issue being discussed in this research is students' learning motivation which is not yet being optimal on the subject of productive office administration. One of several factors hyphothesized the problem is in the professional competence of the teachers. The goal of the research is to find out the influence of professional competence of the teachers towards students' learning motivation on the subject of productive office administration in entire SMKN in Bandung. The respondents on this research aggregate to 35 teachers on the subject of productive office administration in entire SMKN in Bandung. This research employed a descriptive and verficative method. Data elicitation technique was conducted by unstructered interview and questionnaire distribution. Simple regression analysis is utilized as the data analysis. Based on the calculation using simple regresion analysis, it can be concluded that professional competence of the teachers gave positive and significant influence towards students' learning motivation.
