Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya permasalahan seorang wasit futsal, ketika saat memimpin pertandingan futsal wasit menunjukan kesalahan yang mendasar, dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman peraturan permainan futsal. Hal ini berakibat pada kinerja wasit saat memimpin pertandingan yang tidak maksimal. Oleh karena itu, pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan antara pemahaman peraturan permainan futsal dengan kinerja wasit futsal Asprov PSSI Jawa Barat saat memimpin pertandingan? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemahaman peraturan permainan futsal dengan kinerja wasit futsal Asprov PSSI Jawa Barat saat memimpin pertandingan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 19 orang wasit futsal yang berlisensi Nasional yang terdaftar di Asprov PSSI Jawa Barat, dengan teknik pengambilan sampling jenuh. Instumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang berupa tes mengenai peraturan permainan dan observasi yang mengacu pada format penilaian wasit dari PSSI.Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pemahaman peraturan permainan futsal dengan kinerja wasit futsal Asprov PSSI JawaBarat saat memimpin pertandingan, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,702 yang berkategori (cukup). Dengan penemuan tersebut, penulis mengajukan saran untuk wasit futsal Asprov PSSI Jawa Barat agar dapat mempertahankan serta meningkatkan tingkat pemahaman peraturan permainan futsal dan kinerja wasit, guna meningkatkan kualitasnya dalam memimpin pertandingan futsal----------This research comes from the problem of a futsal referee when lead the competition and make a basic trouble because lack of comprehension regarding the rule of futsal itself. This things makes the referee performance does not maximum when lead the competition. Therefore, the question of this research is whether there is a relations between comprehension of futsal rule with Referee performance of asprov PSSI west java when lead the competition? The goal of the research is to know the relations between comprehension of futsal rule with Referee performance of asprov PSSI west java when lead the competition. The method that used in this research is descriptive method. The sample and population that used in this research is 19 registered referees that has National license in Asprov PSSI West Java using saturated sampling. The instrument that used is questionnaire that consists ofquestions about play rules and observation which refers to referee assessment format from PSSI. The result shows that there is significant relation between comprehensioni of futsal rules with Referee performance of asprov PSSI west java when lead the competition with the correlation coefficient value 0.702 that categorized as sufficient. The writer suggest the Asprov PSSI West Java referee to defend and increase the comprehension level regarding rules play and referee performance in order to increase the quality in leading the futsal competition
