Summary:Penelitian yang berjudul "Kesesuaian Antara Materi ABRSM dengan Tujuan Pembelajaran Biola Grade 1 di Sinfonia Music School Bandung", bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang penggunaan materi dan penerapannya serta sistem evaluasi di Sinfonia Music School Bandung pada pembelajaran biola grade 1 terkait dengan materi ujian ABRSM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menafsirkan data melalui penafsiran data, reduksi, dikategorikan dan selanjutnya disusun sesuai kebutuhan penelitian. Data penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan tentang materi pembelajaran di Sinfonia Music School yang berorientasi pada silabus ABRSM sebagai upaya menstandarisasi kompetensi siswanya pada standar Internasional. Penelitian ini juga menemukan materi pembelajaran biola grade 1 yang meliputi scales and arpeggios, lists, sight reading dan aural tests. Selain itu buku sumber yang digunakan adalah strictly string, fiddle time jogger, dan suzuki method 1. Ditemukan juga tentang penerapan materi pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara individu pada kelas praktik dan secara klasikal pada kelas teori dengan menggunakan metode ceramah yang divariasikan dengan diskusi, tanya jawab, imitasi, demonstrasi, dan tugas. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan guru meliputi persiapan, kegiatan pembelajaran dan kegiatan penutup. Dalam sistem evaluasi ditemukan kegiatan evaluasi pada disetiap tatap muka, kegiatan evaluasi pada kenaikan grade untuk ujian lokal dan ujian ABRSM. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa materi pembelajaran yang diajarkan dikelas biola grade 1 di Sinfonia Music School menyesuaikan materi grade 1 ABRSM. Kata Kunci: Materi pembelajaran grade 1, kegiatan pembelajaran biola grade 1, evaluai pembelajaran biola grade 1, materi ABRSM grade 1. The study entitled "The conformity of the material of ABRSM with Learning Objectives of Violin Grade 1 in Sinfonia Music School, Bandung", aims to examine about the use of the material and its application and evaluation system of Sinfonia Music School Bandung on violin lesson first grade associated with ABRSM exams materials. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The research data obtained through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. Data processing and data analysis done by interpreting the data through interpretation of data, reduction, categorized and then arranged according to the needs of research. Data of this study produce findings about the learning materials in Sinfonia Music School oriented to ABRSM syllabus as an effort to standardize the competence of students at the International standards. The study also found a violin lesson material grade 1 covers scales and arpeggios, lists, sight reading and aural tests. In addition the source book used are strictly strings, fiddle-time jogger, and suzuki method 1. It is found also about the application of learning materials is done individually on practice room and classicaly in theory classes use lecture method which varied with the discussions, question and answer, imitation, demonstration, and tasks. The steps conducted include the preparation of teachers, learning activities and closing activities. In the evaluation system found the evaluation activities in every class meeting, at grade promotion for the local exam and ABRSM exam. This study obtained a result that the material taught in violin class in grade 1 Sinfonia Music School adjust the material of grade 1 ABRSM .
