Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya efektivitas kerja pegawai pada Sub Bagian Kepegawaian dan Umum Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat.Hal tersebut ditandai dengan fluktuasi ketidakhadiran pegawai serta masih adanya kinerja pegawai yang dinilai belum maksimal yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya efektivitas prosedur inventarisasi kantor.Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu prosedur inventarisasi kantor (X) dan efektivitas kerja pegawai (Y). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai efektivitas prosedur inventarisasi kantor, memperoleh gambaran mengenai efektivitas kerja pegawai, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari prosedur inventarisasikantor terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksplanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Anggota sampel yaitu 47 pegawai Sub Bagian Kepegawaian dan Umum Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa prosedur inventarisasikantor berada pada kategori cukup efektif dan efektivitas kerja pegawai berada pada kategori efektif. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh berpola linier. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa efektivitas prosedur inventarisasi kantor berpengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai Sub Bagian kepegawaian dan Umum Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Kata Kunci: Prosedur inventarisasi kantor, Efektivitas kerja The problem that were examined in this research was the low effectiveness of employees working inSub Division of Human Resources and the General Education Departement of West Java Province. It is characterized by fluctuations employee absenteeism and there still employees whose performance is not maximum cause by less effective office inventory procedures. This research consist of two variable there are office inventory procedures (X) and the effectiveness of employees (Y). The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the effectiveness of office inventory procedures, obtain an overview of the effectiveness of employees, and to see if there is an influence of office inventory procedures on the effectiveness of employees. Methods used in this research is an eksplanatory survey method. Technique of data collection is scattering the questionnaire with the scale likert, that are analyzed using simple regression. A member of the sample are 47 employees working in Sub Division of Human Resources and the General Departement of Education Staffing in West Java Province. Data analysis technique used is the simple linear regression. Based on the results of research, obtained information that office inventory procedures are at medium category and the effectiveness of employees are at effective category. Furthermore, data that collected patterned linear. From the results of the hypothesis test it obtained that the effectiveness of office inventory procedures have a positive influence on the level of the effectiveness employees in Sub Division of Human Resources and the General Education Departement of West Java Province.
