520 | |a Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas VII-E SMPN 3 Subang. Berdasarkan hasil observasi tanggal 8 April 2015, peneliti menemukan beberapa permasalahan yang ada di lapangan, yaitu sebagian siswa kurang bias menerima siswa lain yang berbeda sikap dan latar belakang, kurang menghargai pendapat siswa lain pada saat proses diskusi, beberapa siswa mendominasi dan kurang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa lain dalam mengungkapkan pendapatnya. Untuk menanggapi hal tersebut, diperlukan model pembelajaran untuk dapat melatih siswa dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi dalam pembelajaran IPS. Salah satunya adalah metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan adalah observasi, catatan lapangan dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas Via I-E SMPN 3 Subang. Data penelitian diolah menggunakan teknik analisis data yakni reduksi data, mendeskripsikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Pembelajaran selama penelitian, pertama dimulai dengan menentukan KI/KD dan menyusun RPP, kedua menenrangkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray beserta indicator sikap toleransi yang akan dikembangkan, ketiga menunjukan adanya perkembangan sikap toleransi siswa pada siklus 1 sampai dengan siklus 3, keempat merefleksikan hasil pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan teknik two stay two stray. Kesimpulan, sikap toleransi siswa mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan pada siklus 3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat mengemangkan metode yang lebih baik dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi, agar mencapai hasil yang masimal. Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran kooperatf tipe two stay two stray, sikap toleransi. The research was distributed by the result of the pre study conducted in class VII-E at SMPN 3 Subang. Based on the result ob observation at 8th April 2015, the researchers found some of the existing problems in the class, that portion of the student are less able to accept other students of different backgounds, attitudes and less appreciative of the opinion of the other students at the time of the process of discussions, some student dominating and less opportunity to other students in expressing his opinion. Tp respond to this learning model is required to be able to train students to develop attitudes of tolerance in learning social studies, on of which is a type ofcooperative learning two stay two stray methods. This research uses class action methods. The data collected that writer applied the are observation, notes, and interview. The subject of the study is student of class VII-E from SMPN 3 Subang. The data of the study assessed in data analysis technique which is data reduction, describe the data, and the draw a conclusion. Learning during research, first started by determining the KI/KD and RPP. The second explain the application of the cooperative learning model of type two stay two stray with the tolerance attitude indicator will be developed, all three showed the progression of the attitude of tolerance of students in cycle 1 to 4, the fourth reflects the learning social studies outcomes using two stay two stray. In conclusion, the attitude of tolerance of students experiencing significant development at cycle 3. Based on the result of this research are recommended for the next researcher to be able to develop a better method in developing an attitude of tolerance, in order to achieve maximum result.
