Pengaruh Penggunaan Metode TPR (Total Physical Response) terhadap Keterampilan Berbicara Bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khususnya dalam keteramapilan berbicara. Untuk itu peneliti menganggap penting untuk meneliti permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan tersebut. Sebagai solusinya, peneliti mencoba dengan menggunakan metode TPR (Total Physical Response) yang merupakan metode pengajaran bahasa yang melibatkan aktivitas fisik melalui perintah-perintah langsung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental nonequivalent control group design. Artinya penelitian yang dilakukan menekankan analisis pada data-data numeric (angka). Adapun hasil perhitungan menunjukan peningkatan nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol yaitu dengan selisih 8,35. Nilai gain pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,049 dan pada kelas 67,35 ≥ 59,00 eksperimen sebesar 0,356. Nilai gain pada kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran metode TPR lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan metode TPR. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Uji-t diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000. Karena 0,000<0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan begitu dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode TPR (Total Physical Response) berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara sehingga menjadikan siswa lebih mudah memahami materi dan berbicara menggunakan bahasa Arab. The Influence of TPR (Total Physical Response) Method on Arabian Speaking Skills. This reseach baxed on the data that show the student's difficulty when study Arabian especially on speaking skills. For that issues it is very important to solve the problem which found in the class. The solution is this researcher try to implement the TPR (Total Physical Response) method that one of the learning method for verbal learning that involving physical activities with direct order. The reseach method that use on this research is quasi experimental non equivalent control group design. It means this research concern about numerical data analysis. The results of calculation shows that the posttest grade on the experimental class more significant instead the control class, the value is 67,35 ≥ 59,00 with 8,35 difference value. The gain value on the experimental classs with the learning method of TPR is higher than control class which is 0,049 instead that using non TPR method. Based on calculation of the t-test which sig value (2-tailed) 0,000. Because of the value 0,000<0,05, that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that the TPR has a significant influence on Arabian speaking skill and the implication isi giving more effectively learning when using Arabian.
