PENGEMBANGAN LKS PRAKTIKUM INKUIRI PADA TOPIK SIFAT KOLOID DALAM PEMBUATAN TAHU

Summary: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa Praktikum berdasarkan model inkuiri terbimbing serta untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan. Langkah penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu studi pendahuluan terdiri atas studi kepustakaan, survei lapangan, penyusunan produk awal serta pengembangan model berupa uji coba terbatas. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar praktikum yang digunakan oleh siswa SMA kelas XII di Kota Bandung, guru kimia SMA, serta dosen Departemen Kimia Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar analisis LKS praktikum, pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan praktikum, lembar penilaian LKS oleh guru dan dosen, pedoman penilaian jawaban siswa terhadap tugas LKS, serta angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 bahan ajar yang dikaji ada 7 bahan ajar yang menyediakan LKS praktikum pada topik sifat koagulasi dengan karakteristik berupa cookbook. LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan berisi percobaan koagulasi melalui pembuatan tahu dengan kondisi optimum suhu air yang ditambahkan pada suhu 90 oC, volume asam asetat yang digunakan sebanyak 13 mL, serta waktu penggumpalan selama 5 menit. Kelayakan LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan tahap-tahap inkuiri siswa (100%), jawaban siswa (93,53%), penilaian guru terhadap kelayakan LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan berdasarkan aspek kesesuaian konsep (97,5%), aspek kesesuaian tata bahasa (83,33%), serta respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan (81,84%) termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. ---------- This research aims to develop Student Laboratory Worksheet based on guided inquiry model as well as to obtain information about properness the developed laboratory worksheet. Research steps include preliminary research that consists of literature study, area survey, prototype model and further development based on limited trial. Source of the research data based on laboratory teaching module that are widely used by grade XII senior high school students, chemistry teachers and lecturers in Chemistry Department at Education University of Indonesia. This research use instrument such as analysis reports of Student Laboratory Worksheet, interview guidelines, working laboratory observation sheets, scoring sheets of Student Laboratory Worksheet done by teachers and lecturers, guidelines in scoring student answer for Student Laboratory Worksheet as well as student questionnaire responses. The result of this research is within 10 teaching materials that were reviewed, 7 out of 10 were showing coagulation behavioral topic with cookbook characteristic in the Student Laboratory Worksheet. The developed Student Laboratory Worksheet in coagulation experimentation of making tofu process includes using optimum water temperature condition that was added at 90˚C, 13 mL of acetic acid and coagulation time for 5 minutes. The properness of Student Laboratory Worksheets developed based on student inquiry is 100% whereas when it is based on student answer, the score is 93.53%. The score given by teachers on the worksheets that were developed on concept compatibility is 97.5%, whereas on language compatibility, the score is at 83.33%, and student response on using Student Laboratory Worksheets that were developed is at 81.84% which is highly satisfactory. |
