Selain itu, pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari metode ini sangat pribadi dan ampuh karena menguatkan pengertian, ingatan, dan transfer sehingga menumbuhkan rasa senang pada siswa dalam proses belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi serta peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning menggunakan modul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yaitu pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan prinsip dasar pengolahan dan membuat produk hasil perkebunan tanaman rempah dan bahan penyegar, dengan materi pembelajaran terfokus pada tanaman rempah dan pengolahannya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TPHP 2 SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan berjumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning menggunakan modul dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mencapai nilai KKM, yaitu dari aspek kognitif sebanyak 26 siswa, aspek afektif sebanyak 29 siswa, dan aspek psikomotor sebanyak 30 siswa. ----------The discovery learning model can encourage students to thing and work on their own initiative, so that it will develop a more active stimulated learning situation. In addition, the knowledge gained from this method is very personal and powerfull because is strengthens the understanding, memory, and transfer that foster a sense of fun to the students in the learning process. The aim of this study is to investigate the implementation and improvement of students' learning outcomes by using modules in discovery learning model. The method used in this study in the Classroom Action Research which focuses on the basic competence of applying the basic principles of processing and making products of spices plantation and fresheners, in which the learning materials are focused on herbal plants and its processing. The subject where thirty-five students of class XI TPHP 2 at SMKN 1 Kuningan. The research instruments used tests and observation. The study result revealed that the implementation of discovery learning models using modules can improve students' learning outcomes in reaching the minimum mastery criteria (KKM). These improvements include twenty-six students' cognitive aspect, twenty-nine students' affective aspect, and thirty students' psychomotor aspect. |
