Summary:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kualitas peningkatan kemampuan penalaran induktif matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan pendekatan kontekstual, (2) mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran induktif matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional, dan (3) mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitiannya nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII (tujuh) di salah satu SMP Negeri Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga didapat dua kelas untuk dijadikan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan kelas kontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes (pretes dan postes), angket, jurnal harian dan lembar observasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) kualitas peningkatan kemampuan penalaran induktif matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan pendekatan kontekstual termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang, (2) peningkatan kemampuan penalaran induktif matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik dari siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional, dan (3) siswa memberikan sikap yang positif terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran matematika. --------- Agustina Eclarasi. (A Quasi Experiment Research to the Students of class VII in one of the SMP Negeri Bandung) This research aims to: (1) know the improvement quality of ability inductive reasoning mathematically students who get a mathematics learning using cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) with a contextual approach, (2) know the differences improvement of ability inductive reasoning mathematically among students who get a mathematics learning using cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) with a contextual approach and students who get a conventional learning, and (3) know student's attitudes toward the use of cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) with a contextual approach in mathematics learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class VII (seven) in one of the SMP Negeri Bandung academic year 2015/2016. Sampling using purposive sampling technique in order to get the two classes to be used as an experimental class and a control class. An experimental class students who get mathematics learning with cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) with a contextual approach and a control class students who get mathematics learning with conventional learning. Instrument of collecting data in this research is a test (pretest and posttest), questionnaires, daily journal and observation sheet. Conclusion from the result of research are: (1) quality of improvement of ability inductive reasoning mathematically students who get a mathematics learning using cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) with a contextual approach belong to the medium category, (2) improvement of ability inductive reasoning mathematically among students who get a mathematics learning using cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) with a contextual approach is better than students who get a conventional learning, and (3) students give a positive attitude towards the use of cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) with a contextual approach in learning mathematics
